- Urgent prayer for Shohei Ueki (who we highlighted last month) who is starting formal worship services in a new Tokyo Bay area church on January 12th.
- Please pray about John’s Asian travel schedule in 2025. One country has new restrictions due to unrest which may prevent John from traveling there.
- Praise God for the great Christmas and New Year celebrations with the Mehns, the Melancens, and our church.
- Continue to pray for both of our teaching, mentoring, and meeting online with those in Asia and seemingly everywhere else.
- Continue to ask God to bless each member of the Monday afternoon Life Group that meets in our home and the Tuesday evening Life Group that meets at the Winnebago public library.
- In January in the Philippines at the All Asia gathering over half of the Asia Impact Team (with some spouses) attended. They gave a brief 15-minute report which was met with applause and some whooping as they heard the progress of several of our projects throughout Asia. Continue to pray for the AIT through 2025 as we meet many new opportunities.
- PTL our AIT completed the new Gospel Movement training to better equip other leaders for movements of leaders and churches.
- Continue to pray for Elaine’s brother Clyde as he anticipates moving into a memory facility in Iowa.
