A Pastor’s Prayer after the Earthquake

Among the hundreds of thousands affected by the earthquake and tsunami are only about 9,000 Christians in worship in 145 churches. One pastor shares his heart for his community and Christ’s church in the area devastated by this earthquake and tsunami. Rolling Power Blackouts

We found out tonight that the Prime Minister of Japan has made an announcement that throughout the Tokyo area there will be rolling electrical blackouts to prevent a total blackout throughout the region. We will be without power for three hours each day. Everyone will have power from 10pm to 6:20 am. REPORT ON CHURCHES I received a report from the Rengo that all of their churches, pastors, members, and members’ homes are fine. Of course the few churches in Iba1raki and Chiba need a bit of cleaning up from fallen items off shelves and a bit of broken glass.
