East Asia Regional Church Planting Network sets new goals
Twenty-three leaders met in late September in Ikoma Japan as part of the East Asia Network of the Global Church Planting Network (GCPN). Besides GCPN consultants, leaders from Thailand, South Korea and Hong Kong and national teams representing Mongolia, Taiwan and Japan developed goals for national church planting processes. Total numbers were overwhelming with over 640 people registered, making this the biggest CPI conference ever! We have absolutely packed this newer and larger resort. John’s book is published
In late September William Carey Library Publishers, publisher of the Perspective course, released John’s book Multiplying Churches in Japanese Soil. A Japanese translation of the book is currently under way.
Expanding Influence
Does God ever surprise you? When we returned in January we had no idea the expanding influence there would be for church planting vision for Japan. Influence was building late last year, but this year John has been scrambling to keep up with the developments.
