1. Please pray for rescuers as the first 72 hours (3 days) are the most critical in finding people. That ends today. As you may have heard highly trained rescue teams from all over the world have been arriving. Encouraged as a military flight just went over my house, a cargo plane, and I know where it is going. Atsugi naval air station, about 5 miles from here, has been more busy than usual today.
2. Thanks to God for his clarity regarding the CPI events. Unfortunate we had to decide to cancel the three CPI events this month. With travel issues it would be impossible to hold.
3. Our CPI guest speakers Stu and Ruth Ann Batstone are in Japan, presently in Nagoya. They are in an area with no shortages or problems with electricity. We would appreciate your prayers as we now try to get them back to the US with their luggage in a smooth manner.
4. There are over 300,000 in evacuation centers. We have heard that many are cold and do not have much to eat each day. The weather reports possible snow throughout the affected areas. Pray for real relief for these people, ask God to speed needed supplies to them.
