On his road trip, John was able to visit 4 partnering churches in northeastern Ohio. The visits came at many different levels and groups of people. All came with challenges and concerns for Covid.
- Lead Pastor Mark Butler and Assoc. Pastor Brian Morris from Anchor Church, Avon Lake, Ohio.
- Church pastoral staff and our entire Asia Impact Team with Old North Church, Canfield Ohio.
- The Missions team and interested people from Evangel Baptist, Boardman Ohio. John met for dinner and light discussion for ministry updates and prayer.
- John and fellow team member Steve Wilkinson tag teamed in preaching and teaching at Mentor Baptist Church, Mentor Ohio on Sunday.
John and Elaine hope to visit again in the MidAtlantic area maybe this summer or fall. We are still being cautious about Covid but willing to consider possible visits to churches and road trips. These visits can occur at any of these levels (and more too). John and Elaine also informally dropped in to Crosspoint church in Rockford in May, another partnering church.
