- Thank God for Elaine’s Christmas team which was warm and significant. Her dear friend warmly shared the gospel of Jesus with all the women. We both enjoyed our time in the US for Christmas with our family and relatives. Elaine has started up her classes again for 2019.
- Grace Week English is February 4-8 in Nara Prefecture. Last time it sold out but we still now have room for 25. Pray that people would register. We both will be doing several presentations each with a new one. Pray as we prepare to mentor as well.
- Pray for the preparations for our very first Japanese Grace Week coming in late May.
- The CPI Leadership Team will be meeting January 23-24. Pray for wisdom and faith.
- Elaine and John will complete the 16 lesson mentoring sessions with a Japanese pastor couple. After Grace Week we will probably pick up another couple who want to go deeper and further in the gospel. Pray for this couple as we wind down and for possible future mentoring possibilities.
