August meant staying a bit closer to our homebase in Rockford, IL but we still visited several churches and supporting individuals. But we had some family time: boat on the Mississippi, Elaine’s 45th high school reunion, Shakespeare theatre in Wisconsin (with cheese curds), and some stay vacation. The girls, Elaine, Beth, and Molly all won ribbons at the Winnebago County Fair!
GOD ANSWERED John was very delighted to hear from Wm. Carey Library that they want to publish his book on church planting in Japan to be released probably next year. Elaine’s books are progressing. Our Home Office gave us approval to leave as scheduled at the end of December. PTL! Pray as we consider our schedule and find inexpensive tickets.
