Thank you so much for praying for me and my teammate Phu Pham’s trip to Bangkok to meet with our South Asia partners. Last year there were 12 key leaders and this time we nearly doubled with 23. They were eager learners and workers. They picked up the missions strategic trajectory we launched last year and turned the 4 priorities into four working teams. The teams were 1) strategy, 2) training, 3) assessing new missionaries, and 4) mobilizing everyone for mission. Each team further developed strategy into concrete goals for the next 6 months to 3 years. Actually we ended up a bit early as they applied themselves so energetically. They are building mission infrastructure that will permit their denomination to multiply the number and effectiveness of cross-cultural missionaries. This far exceeded my expectations. I still think they will easily exceed their goal of 300 missionaries. We will be following up on the team leaders in a visit in October. And we will be able to coach them in person about the next steps.
