The dream is to see many church planting movements in Japan. For many years, as the church in Japan has been declining in several areas, little vision was seen for new churches in Japan. We are overjoyed that God raised up the “Church Multiplication Vision Festa.” In 2014, 65 leaders from all over the country gathered with a vision for church multiplication. GOD ANSWERED We are thankful that finally John is over with a six-week ordeal with a kidney stone. After 4 trips to the hospital things are returning to normal. We have been physically, emotionally, and financially challenged by this trial. August meant staying a bit closer to our homebase in Rockford, IL but we still visited several churches and supporting individuals. But we had some family time: boat on the Mississippi, Elaine’s 45th high school reunion, Shakespeare theatre in Wisconsin (with cheese curds), and some stay vacation. The girls, Elaine, Beth, and Molly all won ribbons at the Winnebago County Fair!
