- John will be traveling in June for the Converge Together meeting in Washington D.C. as Converge celebrates its 170 anniversary. During that time, the entire International Ministries will have a day gathering. Also two key leadership partners from South Asia will attend so we can have extensive discussions about future collaboration.
- Because of a near death health issue with the son of our key leader in South Asia (he is fine now), the entire summer schedule has been like fruit basket upset. We finally decided to reschedule meeting in Bangkok Thailand in September. John will also be visiting Japan in late August.
- John just last month co-started a small group in our local church. Off to a good start. Pray as we anticipate more members and determining our direction. The pastor asked us to present on Life Groups at our church.
- We are grateful that on Apr 30-May 1 a key leader from South Asia visited our home in Pecatonica. John mentors this leader and meeting in person is rare and also a wonderful opportunity to build our relationship.
- Thanks for praying for our neighbor who went into hospice with cancer. His last days were well spent with his family. The family asked John to conduct the funeral of his friend and neighbor.
- Continue to pray for our coaching and mentoring of leaders from various places as well as our teaching and writing ministries.
