Prayer for July
- PTL! Thanks for your prayers for the Mobilizing National Prayer for Japan seminar last month. There were nearly 50 attending and a great impact for those wanting to mobilize prayer. Pastor Kenji Kondo the coordinator and Dr. Tety Irwan were both very encouraged.
- Elaine and I are meeting with a key Japanese couple to do mentored Sonship. Doing it in Japanese is more than 2x harder but we are moving ahead well. Continue to pray for our meetings twice a month.
- Praise God for the wonderful visit with Elaine’s sister in Kentucky. She is doing well. Elaine’s brother is also doing well.
- Our Asia Impact Team will be meeting in person next week (July 7-11) in Orlando, Florida for long-range strategy development for South Asia. Pray for wisdom, good collaboration, decisive plans, and a good working environment.
- Congratulations to John’s student at Kairos University who graduated with his master’s degree. John served as a Faculty Advisor.
- The planning group has started planning for the Japan Church Multiplication Roundtable discussion event in October. Pray that God would bring the right people together to practically collaborate for more churches in Japan.
- This summer, Elaine is facilitating of an adult Discovery Bible Study (DBS) on Galatians at our church in Winnebago is going well. Keep praying for the entire class.
- For some time our support level has been strong but lately it has been dropping to 93-95%. Pray for more finances to come in.
- Special thanks to God for completing one of our longest deputation road trips in a while. God was good over the many miles, various weather, construction, and possible dangerous situations.
- A key Laotian church leader will visit this month in Rockford area. Pray for these great connections.
