Elaine and I may be taking on maybe one of the most important assignments with the Japanese. Beginning next week Elaine and I will begin personal spiritual mentoring in Sonship with a key Japanese leader and his wife. A Pastor has been part of the Japan Church Planting Institute for many years. We hope to translate the entire curriculum and make it available for Japanese to mentor others in Sonship in Japanese. This is more than a curriculum project but a project involving all four of our hearts. To translate, prepare, and personally complete each of the 16 lessons will take about one year. For Elaine and me it will take at least 10 hours per month. So please be in prayer for each of us that God would renew our hearts to understand the gospel much deeper than we do now so that churches and those ministering in Japan would be gospel centered and lift up Jesus and his promises.
