A large-scale Bible attitude survey conducted by the Gallup group reveals that 76% of Asian people know nothing about the Bible, and 56% have never heard of it. The survey of 91,139 people across 85 countries about how people relate to the Bible, representing 3.8 billion people worldwide.
FOCUS ON SOUTH ASIA
In April, my Asia Impact Team teammate Phu Pham and I met in Chicago to plan our work in South Asia. We drove to Wheaton College to meet with some partners and plan training for South Asian missionaries. This two-year missionary training program will begin next January. We also drove to Trinity Seminary to meet with some leaders and professors who may be involved in our training in Asia. We also did some long-range planning for Vietnam. It was an amazing four days.
