John and Elaine are very active leaders within our BGC Japan Mission. These are just some of the major responsibilities that we have.
Elaine
- Planning and Organizing the 2008 Field Council (Annual Meeting & Retreat)
- Serving on the Language Committee
- Unofficially serving as the mission’s “first lady.”
- Short-term Missionary Director
- Japan Mission Field Coordinator
- Lead the mission through developing and casting vision, mobilizing personnel, leading change, and inspiring my colleagues.
- To guide our mission in a process of change to an enabling mission based on the apostolic model of missions. Move toward effective church planting reproduction.
- Work for a synergistic ministry with the Rengo through communication, coordination, and partnership.
- Communicate with, support, and develop all field personnel. Missionary Care.
- Administer the mission program through planning and budgeting, execution, problem solving and creating order.
- Communicate with the Regional Director for Asia, and the Home Office.
- Serve on the BGC Executive Committee, Rengo Liaison Committee, and Rengo National Mission Dept. Committee.
