One of our Church Planting Institute (CPI) Trainers, Stu Batstone and his wife, from World Harvest Mission (www.whm.org) will be in Japan early in 2008.
We are planning our first marriage renewal retreat for missionary couples. We will need a team to do childcare for them. If you have some psychologists and/or physicians to come as consultants that would be greatly appreciated. Also we need people to assist with office and preparation work. Elaine and I may also team up with the Batstones to do one or two Spiritual Formation and Gospel Renewal regional seminars. Help renew and support the inner life and marriages of front-line workers.
We are planning at least one regional church planting training seminar. We will also be launching some new church planting networks in April and May. Help be a part of supporting church planters and launching networks.
All of these new initiatives are in the planning stages. No dates have been set firmly yet.
