We are currently in the US and returning tomorrow to Japan. As we return we will hit the ground running. Please pray for us as we adjust to jetlag and the humid hot Tokyo summers.
- 15th arrive in Japan, 70th anniversary of the end of the World War II
- 16th Spend the day with Rob and Christine Wright our new missionaries that arrived the 11th.
- 17-18th Spend time with Tom and Mary Lou Ellison who are retiring and leaving the field.
- This is followed by catching up on all that we left, dealing with the mission home building project, preparing for the CPI Conference and several other matters this month.
While in the US we visited partnering churches in Sawyer Michigan and West Hills in St Louis. We also visited several individual ministry partners, several mentors and worked on several projects. This was a working vacation – the vacation part was spending time with our children Tim and Beth and our two grandchildren.
