The Tour is Coming to the End – We will be departing the US for Japan on December 30th. The last 10 months have been jam-packed with travel, visiting, seeing old friends and making new ones. So many big and little presentations. As we prepare to leave we cherish these last moments with our family and friends. We will be saying goodbye for 4 years. There is pac
king to do and lots of preparation for departing the US and entering Japan again.
What happened to Thanksgiving? – For Thanksgiving, on our way to our daughters house we realized that we had not had an American Thankgiving in the US for over 14 years. We had not had one with our children over this time, nor had we had one with Beth her husband, Dustin, and our two grandchildren. We were back for Home Assignments many times but not during the fall and over Thanksgiving. Instead we were often celebrating Thanksgiving with our Converge mission family in Japan. This year it was particularly special.
The Best of Both Worlds – We will have Christmas in the US, leave for Japan on December 30th and celebrate New Year’s in Japan. That is the best of both countries Christmas in the US and New Year’s in Japan.
Thank you to all of you who have prayed us through all the travel and visits of this Home Assignment 2016 Tour. God has heard and answered your prayers! Also thank you for your continued prayers for us personally, our ministries, and the Japanese people. Pray that 
they might worship the King of King as they know Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
